Visa

Situated in central Norway, Trondheim is easily accessible whatever your choice of transportation.
By plane
Trondheim's international airport, Værnes (32 km from the city) with almost 100 flights arriving each day, including direct flights from several European cities, including Berlin, London, Copenhagen and Amsterdam. The following airlines operates out from Trondheim airport:
- SAS (Copenhagen, Stockholm)
- Norwegian (Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Krakow, London, Nice, Riga, ...)
- Widerøe
- KLM (Amsterdam)
- Icelandair (Reykjavik)
- Estonian Air (Tallinn)
There are (at least) two airport bus services (Flybussen and Værnesekspressen), with departures ca. every 15 min. Ask the driver which hotels they serve, or check here. The bus fare is about NOK 130. The taxi fare from the airport to the city centre is approx. NOK 800. The railway station is located in the city center. For further information please see Visit Trondheim and Tourist Information.
By train or car from Oslo
You can also travel by train from Oslo, giving you the opportunity to relax and look at the unique Norwegian countryside, or by car crossing the majestic Dovre massif.
