Conference venue

Barbora Hotel is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Low Tatras near the mountain village Vyšná Boca. Vyšná Boca is a little, originally mining village situated at the end of the Bocianska dolina below the Čertovica saddle.

The conference has a rich technical and social program including work in technical sessions and visits of local cultural monuments and the Protected Area of the Low Tatras National Park (NAPANT). You may also enjoy various forms of relax in the Relax centre of the Hotel Barbora (sauna, whirlpool, massages) and active relax in the Ski centre “Bacova roven“ situated in the very close vicinity of the hotel.

Social program

Social programme includes Welcome Party, cultural performances and visit to ski centers in the surrounding - both for alpine and
crosscountry skiing.

Individual events are scheduled as follows

• Presentation of folk music Bystrianka during Welcome Party - Monday, 10. February
• Excursion to the skansen in Pribylina Friday, 12. February
