Scalable robustness for consensus protocols with heterogeneous dynamics
Abstract
It is shown in the paper how robustness can be guaranteed for consensusprotocols with heterogeneous dynamics in a scalable and decentralizedway i.e. by each agent satisfying a test that does not requireknowledge of the entire network. Random graph examples illustrate thatthe proposed certificates are not conservative for classes of largescale networks, despite the heterogeneity of the dynamics, which is adistinctive feature of this work. The conditions hold for symmetricprotocols and more conservative stability conditions are given forgeneral nonsymmetric interconnections. Nonlinear extensions in an IQCframework are finally discussed.
