Abstract
In this paper, a new class of hybrid impulsive and switchingmodels are introduced. Using switched Lyapunov functions, some newgeneral criteria for exponential stability and asymptoticstability of hybrid impulsive and switched nonlinear systems areestablished. Further more, a new hybrid impulsive and switchingcontrol strategy for the nonlinear systems is developed to improvethe system performance. A typical example, the Chua's chaoticcircuit, is provided for illustrating and visualizing theanalytical results.
