An adaptive observer for sensor fault estimation in linear time varying systems
Abstract
A method for sensor fault estimation inmultiple-input multiple-outputlinear time varying systems is proposed in this paper.It is based on a new adaptive observer for joint estimationof states and sensor faults in a state-space formulationof the monitored system.The exponential convergence of the algorithm is proved under some persistent excitation condition.
