Abstract
This paper presents a controller based on fuzzy-logic to ensuresimultaneously vehicle handling and stability. The developedcontroller generates the suitable yaw moment which is obtainedfrom the difference of the brake forces between the front wheelsso that the vehicle follows the target values of the yaw rate andthe side slip angle. The simulations results show theeffectiveness of the proposed control method when the vehicle issubjected to different cornering steering maneuvers such as changeline and J-turn.
