Abstract
The multiobjective control problem is difficult and remains mostlyopen. Although the Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) provide a powerful analysistechnique, a trade-off must be done in the relaxation to restore LMI's properties incontrol synthesis. The Youla parameterization is one of the skill to restore LMI'sproperties while generating all possible compensators. In this paper, it is shownthat Youla parameterization can lead to H2 optimisation without introducingadditional decision variables, and allows to perform frequency shaping (such asflexible modes attenuation) without having to choose frequency weights.
