A NEW MINIMAL LOCAL PARAMETRIZATION FOR MULTIVARIABLE LINEAR SYSTEMS

A new minimal parametrization of multivariable linear system is proposed. Based on a realization of a nominal transfer function the parametrization is defined as a perturbation around the nominal model. A particular parameter basis is selected which, for the impulse response identification problem, leads to Hessian matrix of the criterion function which is equal to the identity matrix.
