From previous studies on adaptive observer design for nonlinear systems, and a recent work on exponential adaptive observers for linear time-varying systems, the purpose here is to propose some new observer design for a class of nonlinear systems. This observer can in turn be made adaptive, and in particular can help in detecting changes in some parameters.
