STABILITY ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS OF FUZZY SYSTEMS USING INTERVAL ARITHMETIC

This paper deals with the design of stable and robust rule-based fuzzy control systems. The interval analysis is applied to design a stable fuzzy controller using a robust condition to assure the stability. An example with a fuzzy controller for a non-linear system is presented to illustrate the design procedure.
