This paper deals with the analysis of continuous and discrete time varying systems using two unusual representations. These representations, based on time varying s-transform and time-varying z-transform notions, prove to be highly efficient in the field of automatic control. They also permit the extension of many well known theorems to time varying systems such as the initial and final value theorems.
Keywords: Time varying systems, time varying s-transform, time varying z-transform, final and initial value theorems
