Fieldbus Integration to the Realtime Ethernet Standard PROFINET
Abstract
For the investment protection of installed plants and machines suitable conceptsfor the integration of Fieldbus systems to future Realtime Ethernet Networks are veryimportant. In this paper a approach for the integration of the fieldbus system INTERBUSinto the Realtime Ethernet standard PROFINET IO will be presented. It shows that it ispossible despite very different device models to realize a deep integration.
