Abstract

This paper provides a survey of the role of feedback control in embedded realtimesystems, presented in the context of ARTIST2, the EU/IST Network of Excellence on design of embedded systems. The survey highlights recent research efforts and future research directions in the areas of codesign of computer-based control systems, implementation-aware embedded controlsystems, and control of real-time computing systems.
