Abstract
This paper presents an adaptive output regulator. It is an add-on type output regulator with frequency adaptation algorithm. A frequency adaptation algorithm based on internal model principle is used to identify frequency of sinusoidal disturbance. It is shown that the proposed method is stable for frequency within a connected compact set. Its stability is proven under the assumption that the frequency of disturbance varies slowly in time. The performance of the proposed method is verified with simulation and experiment results. There is a good agreement between simulation and experiment results.
