Abstract
The application of the two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) control to the electrodynamicmulti-axis shaking system that is not permitted to employ the iteration controlmethod is presented. Since the redundancy of the system is removed,a transformation matrix is used. Furthermore, the influences of the specimen andthe cross-coupling term is considered, and a robust controller is designed usingmu-synthesis. Lastly, the good performance of the controller by experiment usingan actual equipment with the resonant specimen is confirmed.
