Abstract

The paper provides a review and addresses the problem of creatinga modular hardware system that can be effortlessly reconfigured bydevelopers of autonomous intelligent control systems for missiontype task execution in realtime physical environments. The idea isto allow for a common hardware platform which enables algorithmicresults to be compared, accumulated and properly assessed by theresearch community to speed up progress.
