Abstract
An analytical investigation of a complete vehicle model dynamics, subjected to road disturbances is performed. In a reference plane (X, Y), the trajectory traced by the center of gravity of the vehicle will be simulated and shown, and how this trajectory varies if incidents (faults) happen such as variation in the inflation pressure, variation in the type of the contact area with the ground. Due to practical limitations, we cannot consider all the types of faults and their effects on the movement of the center of gravity such as the vibration caused from the mechanical system. A complete model composed of a set of complex non linear differential equations will be shown to represent the motion of the center of gravity. In this work a vehicle without driver is considered, so his reactions on the steering angle, on the acceleration or braking will not be taken into account.
