Preliminary results about anti-windup strategy for systems subject to actuator and sensor saturations
Abstract
This paper addresses the problems of the design of anti-windupschemes for linear systems subject to amplitude limitations inactuator and sensor. The design of anti-windup loops, using bothmeasured and estimated variables, is consideredin order to enlarge the region of stability of the closed-loopsystem, whereas some performance in terms of bounded controlledoutput is guaranteed. Based on the modelling of the closed-loopsaturated systemincluding the observer loop as alinear system with dead-zone nested nonlinearities, constructivestability conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalitiesby using Finsler's Lemma.
