Closed form estimation of boundary values in electrical distribution
Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of estimating operating quantitiesin low-voltage distribution networks. The load is considered to be a stationaryprocess and the proposed method gives the first two moments of current andvoltage at an arbitrary node of the network. Boundary values that must not beexceeded with a given probability can thus be easily obtained. Moreover, themethod calculates the estimates in a closed form, parameterized by coefficients of correlation between customers' loads. Hence, there is no need to recalculate thewhole network if different coefficients are used.
