AN LPV APPROACH FOR ACTIVE ROLL ECCENTRICITY COMPENSATION

In this paper we describe a new identification scheme to perform roll eccentricity compensation for rolling mills. The method presents the advantage that it can be easily tuned in function of the main frequency in the periodic disturbance that, in turn, is dependent on the variation of the rolling speed.
