OBSERVER DESIGN FOR A THREE-TANK SYSTEM

State observers are designed for the benchmark of a three-tank water process. It is shown that based on a single or double measurements the missing water level can be reconstructed. The issue of singularity of nonlinear observers is also discussed. The simulation studies and real date validation show satisfactory convergence of the designed observers.
