This CD-ROM contains the Adobe(r) Acrobat Reader 4.0 software.  This product was built for the intended use with the Reader 4.0.  


Using this product with previous versions of Acrobat
----------------------------------------------------
This product may not run correctly under Acrobat 3.01.  There may be problems with the search index and some new annotation features offered in Acrobat 4.0.  Omnipress will not support this product if you are trying to use Acrobat 3.01 or any earlier versions.


Using this product with future versions of Acrobat
--------------------------------------------------
Omnipress cannot guarantee that this product will operate under future releases of Acrobat.  If you have a newer version of the Acrobat software and intend to use the newer version we suggest the following:
	
1. Check to be sure you have the Acrobat(r) Search software (binoculars with paper icon).  Without this search plug in you will not be able to search the full contents of this CD.  
2. You must also be sure to that your Acrobat General Preferences are configured to: 
	- Disable the "Open cross-document links in the same window" option
	- Enable the "Use Page Cache" option


Windows Installer Notes
------------------------
This product is designed to run the Acrobat 4.0 Reader from the CD-ROM regardless of what version, if any, is installed on your hard drive.  A program group and icon will be created on your Start Menu as well as an uninstaller key will be written to your Windows registry.  The Acrobat software is NOT loaded on to your hard drive. If you wish to install the current version of the Acrobat 4.0 software from this CD-ROM, to your hard drive, double click the file Install/rs405eng.exe. However, it is not recommended to install this version if you have any other versions, older or newer, on your computer.
