Bertrand
Braunschweig holds a "diplôme d'ingénieur" in information technology
from IIE-CNAM, a PhD in Computer Science from Université Paris-Dauphine
and a «Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches» from Université Pierre et
Marie Curie. Bertrand Braunschweig is an expert director within the
Technology, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics Department of
Institut Français du Pétrole, Rueil Malmaison, France. Before joining IFP,
Dr. Braunschweig worked 12 years for Elf Aquitaine where he managed and
developed dynamic simulation and knowledge-based systems. Within IFP, he
has been AI and Statistics group leader, manager of the EC-funded
CAPE-OPEN, Global CAPE-OPEN and COGents projects. Dr. Braunschweig has
been president of the French AI Society from 1998 to 2002, and is
president of the CAPE-OPEN Laboratories Network (CO-LaN) since its
constitution in 2001. |
