Copper hydroxide has been used for many years to combat fungal disease in numerous commercial crops. Copper hydroxide is known to be thermodynamically metastable, and can decompose to copper oxide at elevated temperatures. A simple method was discovered to stabilize copper hydroxide and ensure product stability at elevated temperatures.
