Session 386 - Tuesday PM Workshop: How to Teach Capstone Design for Cpsbmpe? Engineers - Looking to the Future
Our graduates accept positions in wide-ranging, diverse industries all having specific knowledge requirements. Therefore, our capstone-course audience interests and needs are diverse. Capstone courses are traditionally integrating and skill-developing in purpose. We cannot integrate all of the discipline-specific characteristic knowledge into our capstone courses with such a diverse audience. Our capstone courses must have focused educational objectives and methods to ensure that our students are prepared to practice in now and in the future. This workshop’s purpose is to discuss required educational objectives and to evaluate methods to achieve them. ABET course descriptions will be evaluated thereafter.
