Session 107 - Pharmaceutical Environmental Metrics - LCA
How do you know your pharmaceutical process is green? This session will cover presentations that address how to best measure the environmental footprint or 'greenness' of pharmaceutical and fine chemical process and products. This can include metrics used at different milestones of product and process development, driving innovation using 'green metrics' and specific case studies. Presentations using life cycle assessment techniques and life cycle thinking as part of the metrics to evaluate the true footprint of pharmaceutical and fine chemicals manufacture are especially encouraged.
