Shenyang is the largest city of Northeast China and the economic and cultural center of Liaoning Province. It has the largest airport in the northeastern region of China, with direct flights to over 120 domestic cities and 20 flights to major Asian cities. The climate in July is between 21°C and 29°C. 1. Shenyang Imperial Palace

While less well known than the Forbidden City of Beijing, Shenyang's Imperial Palace was built by the first Qing Emperor in 1625. During the Manchu reign of the Qing Dynasty, Shenyang became the political and cultural center of all China. It is one of Shenyang's three UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

2. Zhaoling Mausoleum

There are two tombs of the former Qing Emperors located here and both are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Admission is 50 CNY for the basic tour and visitors can expect to spend plenty of time learning the history of these early Qing Dynasty Emperors.

3. Beiling Park

The largest and most beautiful park in Shenyang is Beiling ('North Hill') Park. With a fee of only 6 CNY, it's well worth the price of admission. Ancient Chinese gardens, pristine lakes filled with pink lotus, and plenty of space for outdoor activities makes the park a popular place to spend the afternoon in Shenyang.

4. Nanguan Catholic Church

The original church was built in 1861, but was destroyed during the Boxer Rebellion. The present church was rebuilt and is known as the Sacred Heart Cathedral of Shenyang. Mass is done in both Chinese and English and visitors are welcome to explore the church grounds daily.

5. Benxi Cave (1 Day Tour)

The Benxi Water Caves (Chinese: 本溪水洞; pinyin: Běnxī Shuǐdòng) is a partially submerged cavern system containing a forest of stalactites and stalagmites, located 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Benxi, Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China. It was made a national park on January 10, 1994, and is open to the public all year round. It was designated an "AAAAA"-class tourist attraction by CNTA in 2015.

The giant 5-million-year-old cavern complex is lit by colored artificial lighting, and expands over 5,800 m (3.6 mi) with a maximal width of 70 m (230 ft), maximal ceiling height of 38 m (125 ft), an area of 36,000 m2 (8.9 acres) and a volume of over 400,000 m3 (520,000 cu yd). It has a subterranean river 3,000 m (1.9 mi) long, with an average depth of 1.5 m (4.9 ft) and maximal depth of 7 m (23 ft), and a daily discharge of 14,000 m3 (3,700,000 US gal). Currently 2,800 m (1.7 mi) of the cave has been developed for tourism, with a dock 300 m (330 yd) into the entrance and a 1,000 m2 (11,000 sq ft) docking bay large enough to park 40 boats. Temperature inside the cave is constant throughout the year, at around 12 °C (54 °F), though slightly warmer in summer than winter.

In addition to the water caves, the national park also offers tourist attractions such as trekking to the top of the mountain, Woodstone Kingdom, dinghy rafting on the Taizi River, and the geological museum which hosts many relics and rare specimens collected from the national park area.

6. Changbai Mountain

Changbai mountain nature preserve was built in 1960s, and joint the International protection web of man and Biosphere in 1980s and listed as the world nature reserve. In 1986s it was listed as the national forest and Wild animal nature preserve. Than it was chosen to be the four-A standards' travel spot in the year of 2000.The Changbai mountain nature preserve aims to protect the natural environment and forestry ecosystem whose centre is the famous Tianchi lake as its core .The total area is 196,465 hectares, it is the best preserve area with the most abundant species of the wilds plants and, most ecosystem among the nature preserved at the same latitude on the Earth; it is the typical representative of the Europe continent the Northern Hemisphere ecosystem. In the area there are 2540 species of wild plants and 1508 kinds of animals, among which are 364 kinds of vertebrate and 780 are insects.

Around the Changbai Mountain there are 16 peaks, West to the Tianchi Lake slightly north, the horizontal distance of 1260 meters to the Liming mountain is the White clouds peak of elevation 2,691 meters which it is the highest mountain in the Northeast. the next one is north to east of the Tianchi lake the horizontal distance of 325 meters to the White clouds peak is the Tianwen peak, to the west of the Tianwen peak , the horizontal distance of 1750 meters is the Long men peak ,whose elevation is 2595 meters.

The heaven lake only has the water outlet but no inlet, an temperature is lower during the whole year and the average water temperature is below 7 degree, and at the same time the lake is the highest mountainous lake above the sea level, the deepest lake with regard to its water content and the boundary lake of china and DPRK.
