STATE AND PARAMETER ESTIMATION
1998 AIChE Fall Annual Meeting
November 15-20, 1998

Sponsored by the Computing and Systems Technology Division, Area 10b
Contributions concerning the development, application, and implementation of
state and parameter estimation techniques for process control are sought.
Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
* Model-Based Control
* Process Monitoring
* Fault Detection
* Data Reconciliation
* Sensor Fusion
Presentations describing novel approaches in process control are encouraged.
Industrial or experimental implementations of state and parameter estimation
techniques are particularly welcome.
Abstracts (500-1000 words) may be submitted via the AIChE Web site at:
http://www.aiche.org/docs/meetapp/programming/cfp.htm.
Instructions for submitting a proposal to present (PTP) containing the
abstract and author information can be found on the AIChE Web site.
The deadline for abstract submission is March 15, 1998.
Note that this deadline is one month earlier than the general AIChE deadline.
