COURSE LOAD: 1.25 month full time study (1/8 of a 10 months year) 

The couse gives an introduction to quantitative calculations and
modelling of chemical process, including mass- and energy balances,
thermodynamics, equilibrium and reaction kinetics.

The level of the course is similar to, or somewhat above, that of
Felder and Rousseau, "Elementary principles of chemical processes"
(Wiley, 1986).

As a text for the couse is used parts from Atkins "Physical Chemistry"
and a new text (in Norwegian) by S. Skogestad on "Process Engineering".
