Dear Prof. Skogestad,
I am an italian student which will graduate
in Computer Engineering in Rome in a few days.
In my final progect I have compared
H-infinity and mu-synthesis design techniques by
applying them to "distillation column A" plant.
First of all I would like to express my satisfaction
in using the Matlab model that you have rendered
available in the web page, the documentation was very
clear and I could save a lot of time by using it.
Now I am preparing the final dissertation and
I am afraid that some professor in the committee
(some of them will not be really interested in the
control part of my thesis) can come up with a
question like: what kind of binary mixture do you distill
in a column like this?
Since I did not find such an information on the
documentation I found in internet (nor in the papers
by yourself which I have read in the past months),
can you help me by suggesting to me some mixture
which is compatible with the numeric data of
column A?
